Sand storm

                   - Dwarakaithalaivan

The giant sculptures of desert

Get vanished

By the change in direction

Of the wind.

Camels can’t swim

Though they carry a

Pond with them.

Sand dunes

Seem to imitate hills

While taking new shapes.

Their scorns will fall along the

Sliding sand.

Fingers of knowledge

Figure out nothing

With the sand particles of

Dry thoughts.

An ocean of knowledge

Has everything in heaps

Except the reason.

Many a time it is painted

On the screen of mirage.

People debate and

Dust off books

To start sand storm…

I really liked your insightful poem Mr. Dwarakaithalaivan. I especially liked the concluding lines:

People debate and

Dust off books

To start sand storm…
