Dwarakaithalaivan on JK

JK Travel

JK was one of the best philosophers of India the world has ever known. Many great people were born in India. The world is indebted to India for their tremendous contributions especially in the field of philosophy. Krishnamurti's philosophy is a very unique one. Those great people always wanted to reveal what they have experienced and guided the people to find the correct path. Religions were born only to help the people to find the truth. In the course of time people go out of their way and forget the object of the great sayings and religions. It could happen in any religion. All need a rejuvenation process at some point of time. It always demands a complete change and transformation. That was why Lord Buddha went to the extent of ignoring God. Some people may find it difficult to digest that. But he taught the true essence of the greatest religions of the world. Krishnamurti was born about two thousand and three hundred years after Buddha. But still people were not able to get what that great soul was trying to tell them.It determined him to teach the people to look at themselves. He told the people to find everything in their self. He tried to refine the people's mind. He uses to go along with you in your mind. It would be a wonderful journey which you have never experienced in your life. In the process you will be surprised to find that you have plenty of rubbish things in it. He doesn't even talk much about the real meditation. He firmly believed that if people were ready to refine their mind they could solve any problem in their life. He was a very special philosopher. He boldly refutes all those things which hinder the sincere seeker of truth. He asks the people not to get caught in anything that takes away their liberty. You could not label his teachings not because of the fact that he was very particular about his originality. He wants the people to find their true self which is always a unique one. We don't know how many years we will be playing in these waves. When will we swim and find the wonderful sea without waves which JK intends to show us?

Reader's view

A great write up on JK. It's very difficult not to be influenced by JK's teachings. The late Pupul Jaykar had published her conversations with JK. In one of them she narrates about a woman who wails to JK saying what will she do without her husband who just died..JK responded, "You fear for yourself without your husband - actually, only in that context his loss is bothering you..." I'm just quoting from memory - may not be his exact words. JK's words had great depth and learning in them...Thanks for sharing this piece, Mr. Dwarakathalaivan.

Sand storm

                   - Dwarakaithalaivan

The giant sculptures of desert

Get vanished

By the change in direction

Of the wind.

Camels can’t swim

Though they carry a

Pond with them.

Sand dunes

Seem to imitate hills

While taking new shapes.

Their scorns will fall along the

Sliding sand.

Fingers of knowledge

Figure out nothing

With the sand particles of

Dry thoughts.

An ocean of knowledge

Has everything in heaps

Except the reason.

Many a time it is painted

On the screen of mirage.

People debate and

Dust off books

To start sand storm…

Dwarakaithalaivan's new poem in muse india

Tower of glasses

Effervescence of happiness

In the glasses of elegance.

Hands that sow

The seeds of paradise on earth

Through mega projects

Join together.

Cheers would surely bring

Laughter on the face of

Humanity.

Fingers that move swiftly

Over key board

Mixing the colours of future

Are various managerial systems

Of modern world.

Strokes on the paintings of infrastructure

would raise as giant bridges.

Trees shed Colourful flowers

Only to see them

start moving as

Cars of metropolitan cities.

Speed of time

Matches the speed of light

That falls on the wind shield

Of speedy vehicles.

Needs of people

Are vital components

solderd together

To make big circuit boards

Representing various fields.

Diodes of creativity glow

As the most modern system

Flows like milli amps current.

Hands of managerial system

Are busy developing infrastructures.

Systems make impression

On every brick used to build

The modern world.

Brilliance flows

As molten metal

To cast intricate links

Of imaginations.

Their delicate movements

Are synchronized to make

The Robotic arm of systems.

Systems are developed

With an aim of bringing in

Maximum comfort to human life.

One robotic arm of system

Carefully tests and combines things

Adding flavour to them.

But finally they all will have a

Faint smell of materialism.

The other arm of system

Is an arm of love and compassion.

It comes close to a man

Not only to wipe away his tears

But to test them

With a tasting robotic finger.

It knows the best way to

Measure a heavy heart.

It spreads the human heart

To make a wooden plank

And smears the tears over it.

The delicate feelings of people are

Glasses with thin wall.

They are carefully placed

One over another

To build a tower of glasses.

Human values form

The gravitational force

Acting on the walls

Throughout the tower of glasses.

The arm of love

Artfully balances

The tower of glasses

While the other great arm of system

Is busy making history.

That arm in its endeavour

To build a new world

Operates with great pace.

As it moves past the second arm

It touches the tower glasses.

Glasses revolve

And dance in the air

As the tower collapses.

Robotic arm catches the glasses in a flash

To save the dying humanity.

But the glasses of compassion

Are crushed to pieces

Even before they

Fall to the floor.
