JK Travel
JK was one of the best philosophers of India the world has ever known. Many great people were born in India. The world is indebted to India for their tremendous contributions especially in the field of philosophy. Krishnamurti's philosophy is a very unique one. Those great people always wanted to reveal what they have experienced and guided the people to find the correct path. Religions were born only to help the people to find the truth. In the course of time people go out of their way and forget the object of the great sayings and religions. It could happen in any religion. All need a rejuvenation process at some point of time. It always demands a complete change and transformation. That was why Lord Buddha went to the extent of ignoring God. Some people may find it difficult to digest that. But he taught the true essence of the greatest religions of the world. Krishnamurti was born about two thousand and three hundred years after Buddha. But still people were not able to get what that great soul was trying to tell them.It determined him to teach the people to look at themselves. He told the people to find everything in their self. He tried to refine the people's mind. He uses to go along with you in your mind. It would be a wonderful journey which you have never experienced in your life. In the process you will be surprised to find that you have plenty of rubbish things in it. He doesn't even talk much about the real meditation. He firmly believed that if people were ready to refine their mind they could solve any problem in their life. He was a very special philosopher. He boldly refutes all those things which hinder the sincere seeker of truth. He asks the people not to get caught in anything that takes away their liberty. You could not label his teachings not because of the fact that he was very particular about his originality. He wants the people to find their true self which is always a unique one. We don't know how many years we will be playing in these waves. When will we swim and find the wonderful sea without waves which JK intends to show us?
Reader's view
A great write up on JK. It's very difficult not to be influenced by JK's teachings. The late Pupul Jaykar had published her conversations with JK. In one of them she narrates about a woman who wails to JK saying what will she do without her husband who just died..JK responded, "You fear for yourself without your husband - actually, only in that context his loss is bothering you..." I'm just quoting from memory - may not be his exact words. JK's words had great depth and learning in them...Thanks for sharing this piece, Mr. Dwarakathalaivan.
